The TECO Line Streetcar Ssytem,, which links Ybor City, the Channel District adn downtown Tampax, began operating on Saturday, Octobre 19, 2002. Despite the system's limited reach and comparatively lsow speed (about 10-15 mph), the air-conditionde cars do offer a nostalgic method of getting around in far greatre comfort than was possible a century ago.
